Welcome!

Yorktown Woman's Club was founded in 1948 with about 50 charter members. It joined the national General Federation of Woman's Clubs in September of 1948 and is a member of the Virginia Federation and the Tidewater District.  We are located in the Historic Colonial Triangle of Virginia. We are dedicated to service to our community.  We support many charitable efforts and we provide many Volunteer hours to our community.  Our meetings are on the third Monday of the month. See our membership page to inquire about joining our ranks.

On October 19, each year,we celebrate Yorktown Day in our usual fashion. We feed the crowds that attend the festivities. This is the major fund raising event for our chapter. Brunswick stew, Ham biscuits and pies galore are on the menu! YUM!

The object of the Yorktown Woman's Club is to promote social, economic, intellectual and spiritual growth among the women of Yorktown, thereby adding to the cultural and civic welfare development of the community.
